At BMC, the Omnichannel Sales Specialist is responsible for sustainable sales growth generated originating from inbound (non-walk-in) traffic, through partnership with BMC salespeople, and management of personal accounts. The Omnichannel Sales Specialist mainly engages peer associates and end-user clients (Contractor or Homeowner) through online and phone communication to establish project qualification, budget, and timelines, in addition to engaging client accounts at the beginning and re-engagement phases of the account lifecycle. The Omnichannel Sales Specialist will be based in Alexandria, VA, however must be capable of travel within the market to BMC locations and jobsites if necessary. Accountable to service level goals through reaction times to inbound traffic, and pricing/quoting/transacting inbound traffic orders to drive sales in the Omnichannel category. Candidate must thrive in a team based environment to partner with peers and vendors on projects as a leader or in a support role, and act as training conduit for other associates on the team. This position requires fluent computer and phone operating skills. This position reports to a Manager and has no direct reports.
