Oversees the daily activities of work sites in the field, including scheduling, delivery of equipment and materials, and progress of the project.
Major Responsibilities:
The FSR role is the link between the designers in the office and the builders in the field. They are responsible for meeting with builders to discuss the options listed on their cabinet selections and to verify that the cabinet layout is accurate and corresponds with the builder plans and make changes as needed. Verifying the builder’s framing is correct and that the cabinets fit the framing per plan. If issues are found, the FSR is to communicate with the builder and discuss what needs to be corrected for a complete cabinet install when the cabinets arrive. FSR must turn in measured files to the design team and discuss any issues so cabinets are ordered on time and complete.
FSR will be responsible for walking the jobs after the install has taken place, making notes and taking pictures of any issue found and then discussing with the builder both for his issues and/or ours. After all walks are complete, the FSR is to turn his or her paperwork in daily to the customer service department so any parts can be ordered, if needed, and all paperwork can be filed for reference for future use. It is also the responsibility of the FSR to verify that services and installs are being completed in a timely manner and that they are 100% complete and notifying the installer or service tech when additional works needs to be performed to make sure they return to get things completed.
