We are currently hiring for the following position in the greater Puget Sound area.

 

Customer Account Manager – Millwork

(Residential)

 

The Customer Account Manager-Millwork will be responsible for planning, organizing, communicating, and controlling all aspects of field production work within a designated area. Overseeing multiple single- and multi-family new-home construction projects.   

 

Responsibilities associated with this position include:

 

  • Reading/reviewing plan documents with job Superintendent
  • Supervising the planning for and ordering of materials and supplies in all aspects of the process and ensuring they are ready for use when needed.
  • Creating material packages for shipment from blueprints and/or field counts.
  • Overseeing project(s) in the field and coordinating appropriately with the customer.
  • Processing orders in office, scheduling deliveries, and coordinating all paper flow with office personnel.
  • Performing job-site visits to ensure delivery and timely completion.
  • Managing field problems and service issues.
  • Working directly with job Superintendents to adjust to builder needs and forecast.
  • Resolving field problems with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinating pre-job meetings with appropriate representatives.
  • Completing administrative tasks as necessary to ensure the success of the entire team.
Qualifications: 
  • Education and/or Experience – High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 
  • Construction/millwork knowledge required.
  • Language Skills -- Must be able to read, analyze, interpret, comprehend, and/or present information; as well as oral and written communication. Bilingual a plus.
  • Mathematical Skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to calculate yards and footages.
  • Reasoning Ability -- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must be able to understand blueprints, regulations and building codes.
  • Valid and clean driver’s license.
